Maika Walker is a sophomore at North Atlanta and is ready to “press play” on her first year as a Wire Staffer. As a first year, Maika is excited to explore far more interesting topics than she did in Journalism 1,  but most importantly to brag to her friends about being on the staff. When not buried knee-deep in her math homework, she can be seen playing volleyball for the Dubs. In the late hours of the night (most likely procrastinating homework) she’s undoubtedly watching her favorite show: Criminal Minds gushing over Matthew Grey Gubler, thinking about if she had what it takes to be in the FBI. She is more than excited to be a part of this year's staff and is ready to take on any writing assignment thrown at her!
