Curran Mitra, Sports Editor
Curran Mitra is a senior this year, serving as a first-year staff member on the Wire, though he prides himself in his work as a contributing writer this past year. An avid sports fan, he is enthused to take his thorough knowledge and fandom of his favorite sports to the Wire this year as the Sports Editor. When he is not in front of a TV watching his favorite teams, Curran can be found doing his IB homework, exercising, or with his friends, usually at some of their favorite restaurants. He and his friends are regulars at El Azteca on weekends wolfing down bowls of salsa and consuming copious quantities of sweet tea, a drink second to only Fresca (obviously). In addition to being on the Wire staff this year, Curran is a Captain of the North Atlanta Debate Team and is on the Swim Team, where he can frequently be seen out of breath after a hard set. He is a driven and motivated student, and his diligence is supported by his study habits which have been much improved as he has progressed through high school. This year, he looks forward to finding out where he will spend the next four years of his life and living out his final year as a Dub in the unrivaled 11 story building.
