Cate Shaughnessy, Staff Writer
Cate Shaughnessy (pronounced Shaw-ness-ee) is a senior and glad to be back on the Wire Staff for her second year. Outside of the classroom, Cate spends a lot of time at the pool, either competitively swimming, lifeguarding, or soaking up the last few bits of summer before fall rolls around. In the morning, she can be seen tearing down Northside to claim a good parking spot before the parking deck fills up. Though she can be quiet at times, being around her friends brings out a new side of her, one she loves to express through writing. This year will be a busy and exciting new year for Cate, and she is eager to spend another year writing for North Atlanta’s amazing Warrior Wire.
