Top 5 Atlanta Study Spots for Caffeinated Warriors
Let’s be honest, you’ve tried every trick in the book to make studying easier, but for some reason, listening to countless “study music” Spotify playlists and pulling all nighters just isn’t cutting it. What you need is a new study spot, and Atlanta is full up them! Say goodbye to boring study routines, and say hello to studying with perfect background noise, great lighting, and a nice, warm mug of coffee. Here are my top five favorite coffee shops to study at in Atlanta.
Octane Coffee
Where: Marietta Street
Description: Octane is a small, bustling coffee shop, with good tables for spreading your stuff out for a solo study session. If background noise is your thing, Octane is ideal. There’s also free wifi, so if you’re doing work on a laptop, you’re all set! Octane also has a lot of coffee options, complete with beautiful latte art. They also have plenty of tea options for the non-coffee lovers.
Revelator Coffee Company
Where: Westside Provisions District
Description: Revelator is a contemporary, simplistic coffeehouse. It has couches and great table space. It also has plenty of room for a group to study together. The lighting is natural because there are big windows, which makes it easy to focus. The menu is very simple: just coffee, iced coffee, espresso, and tea. It’s more quiet than other cafes, so if you focus better in quieter environments, Revelator would be a good study spot for you.
Caribou Coffee
Where: Peachtree Road, Piedmont Avenue
Description: Caribou is an eco-friendly cafe, and has multiple Atlanta locations. It is very cozy, and has plenty of room for a group to study together. There’s also a pretty constant buzz of noise, making for good focus. The menu is very big, with lots of food and drink options.
Chattahoochee Coffee Company
Where: Akers Mill Road, Huff Road
Description: Chattahoochee Coffee Company is a rustic, laid back coffee shop. It has great space to work, both inside and outside. Inside, there are lots of plug-in spots, tables, chairs, and sofas, and outside seating provides a beautiful view of the Chattahoochee River. The lighting is very natural, and great for concentration. The menu is also extensive, with espresso, brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, Arden’s Garden juices and pastries.
Dancing Goats Coffee Bar
Where: Peachtree Place, Ponce City Market
Description: Dancing Goats is a super cute coffee shop, with two different locations in Atlanta. The seating is great for studying, with lots of room, both indoors and outdoors. There is also free wifi, which makes laptop work a breeze. The menu is impressive, featuring locally baked pastries and delicious coffee.
