Visionary Jake Strange roams the hallways of North Atlanta with his fellow freshman.

You’ve heard his name. You may have even seen his face. But, you don’t know his story. At the young age of 15, freshman Jake Strange is a burgeoning YouTube sensation with more than 10,000 YouTube subscribers. His popular videos showcase his jet-setting lifestyle that includes high profile socializing with rap celebrities and his navigating locales like South Beach in high-end luxury sports cars.

He’s an adventuresome teenager full of energy, vibrancy and drive. And the lavish lifestyle he projects – do you have access to high-end sports cars and do you pall around with Waka Flocka? – represents his keen mentality and drive for success.

Strange’s intellectual interests are video work and technology. “I love telling stories through video. Being someone that can display certain feelings in videos makes me happy,” he said.

In 10 years, he sees himself as – he hopes – a college graduate and an individual highly involved in a career in the film industry that makes him content and highly paid. “I want to make a change in the film industry and help smaller filmmakers like myself find more success,” he said.

This goal stems from his opinion that major technology CEOs are just not cutting it in his perspective. “Owners of tech companies like Amazon and Apple are perceived as being on a pedestal and ruling everything,” he said. “Small film makers and technological innovators should be given more credit for their creativity.”

Strange has a very simple daily layout: to have fun and make good memories. He usually has a planned schedule and he confesses that school at present is not his biggest priority. “I believe that real-life lessons and values are learned in the real world,” he said.

Strange’s energetic and dynamic personality is open to misinterpretation, he admitted. “Some people may have the wrong opinion about me. However, my close friends and coworkers know that I strive to be happy and not have beef with anyone,” he said.

Outside of school, Strange manages his apparel and filmmaking businesses. “Usually, I’ll be out shooting scenes with my friends and just having a good time,” he said.

Strange goes to extreme heights to create unique filmmaking material. “We sometimes climb cranes, follow railroads, and go to concerts to film,” he said.

Strange lives a comfortable life but still has many unique and far-reaching goals to keep him on his feet. Whether it’s filmmaking, spending time with friends or simply living each day to the fullest, Jake Strange definitely has the spirit and exuberance to succeed and further his career.
