Art Comes to Life at This Years NAHS Art Show

On Friday, December 11th, the talented students of North Atlanta showed off their fantastic artwork at the Shepard Center in Atlanta. The pieces ranged from sculptures to “living art” that walked around the room. Every piece was for sale to not only benefit our school’s art program, but also the students who created these works. Their art was selected through the judgment of both art teachers Kim Landers and Natalie Brandhorst.

The living art was a superb part of the show, as they not only looked very cool, but they also walked around so that everyone could get a good view of the art painted on them. The paintings and sculptures too were amazing, showing off personal stories and struggles that have made our students the creative prodigies they are. For many students, their works were themed, especially in the case of Bishop Wright, senior. His works were mostly themed around space, showing that it is clearly his passion. Other talented students that were included in the show were Bradley Reeves, Zuri Scott and James Hunt. After attending this show it was clear to see that our school is full of creative and talented students that have a bright future no matter their choice of career.
