With an upcoming hopeful campaign in the 2025 spring season, the North Atlanta Boys Lacrosse team is gearing up into shape before tryouts begin in the coming weeks. Skills and conditioning practices twice every week have made the boys even more “locked in” than in years prior, with the squad and competing players looking to make major improvements to a rather disappointing last year. While a 6-5 home record was sufficient considering tough regional competition, the players and staff alike are looking to improve on a not-so-impressive 0-6 away tally. Hopes are still high, however, with underclassmen talent and upperclassmen leadership looking to make a perfect mix in the new year.
The North Atlanta High School lacrosse team is gearing up for a promising season, and the senior class is ready to step into their leadership roles. With a strong foundation built over the past few years, these seniors are determined to leave their mark on the program. Leading the charge is senior captain Hutch Balocki, a dynamic midfielder who possesses both exceptional athleticism and a natural leadership presence. Balocki is eager to inspire his teammates and guide them towards success on the field. With his leadership and the talent within the team, the North Atlanta lacrosse team is poised for a successful season. “It’s my last year. I have to set an example for these boys,” said Balocki
Simultaneously, the Dubs are currently in the midst of rigorous preseason practices, and the coaching staff is closely observing the talent emerging from the ranks. Among the players making a strong impression is 11th grader Drew Coleman. Coleman, known for his exceptional speed and agility, has been a standout performer throughout the preseason. His impressive work ethic and dedication have caught the attention of the coaching staff, who believe he has the potential to be a key contributor to the team’s success this season. The team is eager to see how Coleman and the rest of the squad will perform as they prepare for the upcoming season. “Even though I’ve been on the team since I came to NAHS, this year will be the year I step into my own with the boys, getting Dubs along the way,” said Coleman.
Tryouts in a couple of weeks are looking to be some of the most anticipated in Warriors history. With a young developing team and talented veteran leadership to help them along the way, this season along with the future are set to be great for the Warriors. The only thing left to do is for the men’s lacrosse players to show the world just how much they’ve been training in the offseason.
