Growing up with an unyielding passion for the game, Haskins learned early that lacrosse was more than a sport — it was a life lesson in resilience, friendship, and hardwork. His dedication and genuine interest in every player reminds us that behind every victory lies a story of shared struggles and triumphs.
Coach Haskins played college lacrosse at Greensboro. He played goalie for the team and found a lifelong love for lacrosse. These humble beginnings eventually led him to North Atlanta, where he recognized an opportunity to cultivate raw talent and foster a vibrant community spirit. “Coach Haskins’s vision has set the bar high for this year,” said senior Hutch Balocki.
Reflecting on his own lacrosse career, Haskins has tons of lacrosse experience: long hours on practice fields under unforgiving weather, the bittersweet sting of defeat, and the exhilaration of hard-won victories. Each experience was a lesson. Now, he is the director of events and training for Thunder Lacrosse, Surge lacrosse, and the head coach of the North Atlanta’s team. His candid narrative resonated deeply with young athletes hoping to leave their mark on the sport. “The energy in our locker room is unmatched this year,” said sophomore Luke Curcio.
Looking ahead to the season, Haskins has a detailed strategy for leading the Dubs to victory. He envisions a team built on senior leadership, long practices, and an unyielding desire to improve day by day.
