While touchdowns and tackles steal the show, it is Quinn Holloran’s lenses that capture the story. With a camera in his hands, Holloran hustles down the football field, making sure that every moment shared is made into a lasting memory. Be it a game-winning touchdown or a bond between the boys, his photography reflects the true spirit of Warrior football.
Holloran’s photograph journey clicked at the age of 8 when his interest in animals set the stage for a future full of shots going far beyond wildlife. What started as a simple leisure hobby eventually elevated into a burning passion for photography. By the time he was in high school, he had developed his craft into a skill that all of NAHS are ecstatic to see. “My brother is on the team, and said that his friends were willing to pay me to take photos for them,” he said.
Stepping into the world of sports photography was a first for Holloran, but facing a challenge head-on? That was nothing new to him. Pushing himself to adapt quickly, Holloran was able to learn and adjust quickly eventually making shots that earned the respect of players and coaches. Sports photography demanded working under pressure, perfect shots, and timing, and yet Holloran never missed. “I’ve gotten better at knowing where to be when I take photos,” he said. “Before this, I usually didn’t do sports photography.”
Not suited up in football gear, Holloran is still in the game. His camera is his uniform. Players from all grade levels appreciate his work and praise him for his savvy skills with the camera. Holloran’s outstanding ability to capture the intense and competitive nature of every play has made his photos a favorite among coaches, teammates, and fans alike. His pictures are his plays and every shot scores. With his contributions beyond simple photo taking, Holloran is capturing moments that fuel their pride and unity. “Pretty much everyone has reacted positively to it, they like them a lot,” he said.
Through the lens of Quinn Holloran, it was not only his photos that he captured but kept the spirit of Warrior football alive. Getting his start at the age of 8 to the accomplished student photographer he is today, Holloran has frozen time, letting moments on the field be memories that last a lifetime.
