Monday: Leading the pack at the start of the week is Pajama Day. Add a cozy and playful twist to the school’s hallways by wearing your favorite and most unique pajamas. Don’t forget the bedroom shoes. Fuzzy slippers are not a bust. Funsie Onesies are a must. “I can just hop out of bed, and head off to school,” junior Cabell Townsend said. “When else can you do that?”
Tuesday: Dress as your favorite Celebrity on Celebrity Day. Tuesday will transform the school into a massive red carpet ceremony. The atmosphere will be buzzing with energy as everyone is dressed in their glamorous outfits. “Personally, I will be dressing up as Ice Spice,” said junior Brayden Manier.
Wednesday: On Wednesday, Students will be showing off their athletic pursuits with Jersey Day. From the Falcons and Hawks, all the way down to the Dubs Football Jerseys. Make sure to let your teams be known. Later on in the evening, the powderpuff games begin. Juniors Vs. Seniors and Freshman Vs. Sophomores. Winners of each game play each other in the championship game. “With the girls going all out for powderpuff this year, North Atlanta students are in for an amazing night of flag football,” junior Cameron Louie said.
Thursday: Students may need to ask their parents for advice for Thursday, because it is Throwback Thursday, 90s edition. Students need to bring out their best outfits from the iconic 90s decade. The hallways are gonna be living with culture. It’s also a fun opportunity for teachers and students to remember how fun and different the 90s really were. “I think the teachers are gonna win this battle,” said Louie.
Friday: Closing out the week is teacher-student swap. Teachers dress as students and students dress as teachers. The teachers are gonna be struggling to fit into the current teen style. Students will enjoy mimicking their favorite teachers outfits, from button down shirts and ties to coffee mugs and glasses. This day will be a refreshing break from the routine we know so well. With the lightend atmosphere, students and teachers are gonna go all out on this day.
